ABOUT FERGUSON'S (STORNOWAY) LTD
In 1998 when A.C Ferguson's stopped trading, Alex's brother Neil Ferguson decided to continue on from his time there by becoming self employed and picking up the servicing of customers boilers, and thus Ferguson's Boiler Servicing was born.
The company was initially established by Neil and his wife Christine as a partnership. Working from home, the business quickly grew from primarily just servicing boilers to now providing a full range of plumbing and heating services. Now over 20 years on, the business has undergone many changes in growth and expansion including becoming a Limited company and now known as Ferguson's (Stornoway) Ltd; a family run company by Neil and his eldest daughter Carolyn.
The business now provides a range of domestic and commercial servicing of oil and gas appliances, estimates and installations for plumbing and heating systems including stoves and fire suites. There is a showroom with a wide range of stoves, fire suites and accessories for sale from some of the U.K's and Europe's largest suppliers and manufacturers for customers to come and choose from including;

There is also a small team of three tradesmen with extensive knowledge in plumbing, heating, oil and gas boilers in addition to Neil and the company foreman Alex Finlayson.
Neil is not only Director of the firm, but a time served plumber with over 30 years experience and a high standard of insight into the field of heating and engineering. He is able to design heating systems specific to your home - whether it is a new build property, renovation, or upgrade of an existing heating system. He uses his excellent knowledge of the industry to source the best quality products for customers at the best prices available. Working along side Alex, they assess projects and work to be carried out for the estimates, and to provide customers with any further information on their required installations - whether it be plumbing installations for full bathroom suites, a new stove and chimney system or a new boiler and heating system.
